About me

I am a software engineer who works mostly on mobile and desktop apps, with Python automation and AI on top. I have shipped apps to the App Store and Google Play, built the paywalls and payment flows that earn from them, and written the store listings that sell them.

Most of my work has been remote, with teams in Australia, the Netherlands and Pakistan and with their international clients. I am used to owning a feature from the first conversation through to the release.

  1. Software Engineer at Appetiser Apps

    May 2026 to Present · Australia, remote

    Australian app development agency, with client projects in the six-figure AUD range.

    • Developer on Tuks, a job marketplace platform, and on PnutGo, writing Swift and SwiftUI inside the agency's architecture and code review process.
    • Assessed Klipy as a replacement for the Tenor GIF service in PnutGo, so the product was not dependent on one third-party provider.
    • QA on Zentril and Ride The World through an internal cross-skilling program.
    • Daily work with a team across Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

    Fashion social media startup.

    • Built the Stories feature end to end, with 13+ interactive sticker types including polls, emoji sliders, mentions and GIFs.
    • Offline-first drafts that sync to the cloud automatically, using Hive for local storage and Firebase for media and real-time data.

    Digital marketing agency delivering apps for international clients.

    • Fixed the broken ad integration in the Loyal Books iOS app and shipped the release, which restored the app's ad income.
    • Built the salon booking apps for iOS and Android, with Checkout.com card payments and a Supabase backend.
